Remote Learning Extension
Due to the difficult nature of containing the state's COVID outbreak, Remote Learning 6.0 will continue for the remainder of this term, with students learning remotely.
Teachers will continue to provide a highly engaging learning program, which includes learning resources being available on Compass and students being expected to participate in video-conferencing for part of every lesson.
As always, we are here to support you and your child however possible.
Onsite supervision will continue to be provided for vulnerable students, children of authorised workers and students who are unable to remain at home unsupervised. If you are an authorised worker and your child is unable to be supervised at home or has specific learning needs and needs to attend onsite during this time, you will need to contact your child’s House Leader to discuss onsite supervision.
If you have resources in your locker that you need during Remote Learning you can attend the school to collect these. Please remember to wear your mask when you attend onsite.
House Leadership Teams will be available for families and students who need support with their learning. Please email your HLT or contact the General Office if you require assistance with your learning during the restrictions
If you need IT support, you can contact the IT Team directly via email@example.com; or call the office to make a time to come in for technical support.
The Wellbeing Team is available at school, as well as via the Wellbeing Hotline (0402 014 795) for our students and families.
Parent/Student/Teacher Interviews are taking place next week on Thursday 9th September. Details of the structure and how you can book in for these important check-in conversations will be sent out by the end of this week.
