Year 7 Camp

For over 20 years we have been taking our Year 7 students to the Phillip Island Adventure Resort as a crucial part of our Transitioning to Secondary School Program early in Term 2. The camp provides students the opportunity to solidify newly formed relationships with students and teachers from their House whilst crafting experiences for students to make new friends and meet others from the wider Year 7 and school community.

Student feedback from the camp is always extremely positive with activity highlights regularly featuring campsite cooking, high ropes, raft making and the giant swing! Other activities include canoeing, archery, the team challenge course and a night walk to Smiths Beach.

Whilst forming friendships is an integral part of the camp, students also leave with a greater understanding of teamwork, being a respectful member of a community and resilience.
